The LifeDrive Diaries, Part I: The aesthetics
This consumer reports on the new Palm LifeDrive PDA, including styling versus HP and other PDA devices.
Style-wise, the LifeDrive is one of palmOne’s simpler devices. No sexy curves and sharp corners, just all straight lines and rounded corners (the perfect match for my PowerBook, if I may add). The outer sheath is aluminum, as far as I can tell. There’s a huge palmOne logo embossed at the back, and the speaker grill takes up the rest of the back. It actually looks kinda boring, IMHO. I like the stylishness of the T3, for example, with its subtle curves and rounded corners.
